Who we are

Autolink M.A.T, Ter Heydelaan 260, 2100 Antwerpen, Belgium, VAT BE1037023931 (“AutoLink”, “we”), is responsible for the personal data described here. Questions or requests: info@autolink-mat.be.

What we collect and why

• Your account — email address, password (stored only in scrambled form) and country. We need these to give you an account and to let you make car requests (performance of a contract).
• Car requests — make, model, year, budget and delivery country, linked to your account, so we can look for the car and tell you its status (contract).
• “Request this car” form — name, email, phone number and the car you asked about, so we can contact you at your request (steps before a contract).
• If you buy a car — name, address, VAT number for businesses, and the invoice and payment details. We must keep these under Belgian accounting and tax law (legal obligation).
• Technical data — when you visit, our hosting provider briefly records your IP address and browser to keep the site running and secure (our legitimate interest).

The import cost calculator runs in your browser: what you type there is not sent to us or stored.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other sites.

Who else handles your data

Only these service providers, each bound by a data processing agreement:

• Supabase — database, accounts and file storage, in the EU (Ireland).
• Vercel — hosting of this website.
• Resend — sends account emails such as the confirmation link; sending from the EU (Ireland).
• Notion — our internal list of enquiries from the “Request this car” form.
• OpenStreetMap — the map tiles on the listings page; your browser loads them directly.

Some of these companies are based in the United States. Where data leaves the EU, it is protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

• Account and car requests: until you ask us to delete your account.
• Enquiries that did not lead to a sale: at most 24 months after our last contact.
• Sales and invoices: as long as Belgian accounting and tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to limit or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Email info@autolink-mat.be; we answer within one month. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, dataprotectionauthority.be.

Dealers using our software

Car dealers can use AutoLink’s dealer software for their own customers. For that data the dealer decides what happens to it and is responsible for it; AutoLink processes it only on the dealer’s behalf, under a data processing agreement. Contact that dealer about your data.
